The AKU Examination Board is dedicated to broadening access to quality education and recognising academic excellence across Pakistan. The AKU-EB Harji Scholarship is a merit-based initiative established to support outstanding students from Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral (GB&C) as they pursue their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) studies. This scholarship reflects AKU-EB’s commitment to empowering learners to excel academically and fulfil their aspirations.
Who can Apply
The scholarship is open to students from Gilgit-Baltistan & Chitral who have completed their SSC (Grades 9 and 10) from AKU-EB and are continuing their education in
HSSC (Grades 11 and 12) at an AKU-EB affiliated institution.
Selection Criteria
Awards are granted purely on merit through a competitive selection process, recognising students who demonstrate academic excellence.
What the Scholarship Covers
The scholarship covers the full cost of AKU-EB examination fees for both HSSC-I and HSSC-II. Please note that it does not cover tuition fees, books, uniforms, travel, or other living expenses.
Number of Awards
The Scholarship is open to students from Chitral,
Ghizer, Gilgit and Hunza.
Each year, forty (40) students from the GB&C region will be awarded the AKU-EB Harji Scholarship.
