Access to modern energy is a big problem in villages all over the world. New technology makes it easier for people to access electricity in remote rural areas and opens up a whole new realm of possibilities for those living there.
Who Can Participate?
AKU-EB students from Grades VI, VII, VIII, Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) are eligible to participate.
Prizes:
A Four-day Academic Trip to the University of Cambridge, UK
The student submitting the most outstanding poster presentation from across the country will get a chance to visit the University of Cambridge, UK.
7 Samsung Galaxy Tablets
The students submitting the best poster presentation from each grade (VI, VII, VIII, IX, X, XI and XII) will be awarded with a Samsung Galaxy Tablet.
Poster Exhibition
15 students submitting the best poster presentations will get an opportunity to present their work at the AKU-EB High Achievers Ceremony 2015.
Participation Certificate
All participants will be awarded a participation certificate.
The last date for submission is November 05, 2015.
Results will be announced by end of November.
How to Participate?
Step 1: Download the
guidelines and read them thoroughly.
Step 3: Create your poster presentation online as explained in the guidelines. You can complete the poster presentation using text and/ or pictures. Please do not change the original font size or the style of the template and try to stay within the word limit for each section.
Terms and Conditions:
Each student is eligible for a single entry only and the Aga Khan University Examination Board (“AKU-EB”) reserves the right to reject any entry(ies) as it may deem appropriate in its sole discretion.
AKU-EB has the sole discretion with all rights to conduct and manage this contest in such manner as AKU-EB may deem appropriate. By participating in this contest, the participants accept the authority of AKU-EB to select the entries and make any decision with regard to the contest including the determination of the winner(s). All the decisions of AKU-EB shall be final and binding on the contestants. The decisions of AKU-EB shall not be appealable.
AKU-EB shall take necessary measures to ensure that this contest is conducted as scheduled; however, in case of any disruption caused by circumstances beyond its control, AKU-EB reserves the right to cancel, postpone and/ or delay the said activity and reschedule them in a manner that AKU-EB may deem appropriate. That, except to the extent of rescheduling activities, AKU-EB shall not be liable in any manner for not holding the activities as scheduled for the reasons stated above
