The Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) recognises the importance of enabling aspiring students to access quality education and reach their full academic potential. The AKU-EB Meritorious Scholarship is a competitive initiative created to support students in their Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) studies, empowering them to excel academically and realise their ambitions.
Who can Apply
This scholarship is open to all SSC graduates from any examination board in Pakistan who have secured admission to pursue their HSSC at any AKU-EB affiliated college in Karachi.
Selection Criteria
Awards are granted purely on merit through a competitive selection process, recognising students who demonstrate academic excellence.
What the Scholarship Covers
The scholarship covers the full cost of AKU-EB examination fees for both HSSC-I and HSSC-II. Please note that it does not cover tuition fees, books, uniforms, travel, or other living expenses.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have completed SSC-II from AKU-EB or any other examination board in Pakistan.
Be enrolled in an AKU-EB affiliated college in Karachi for HSSC.
Number of Awards
Each year, ten students will be awarded the AKU-EB Meritorious Scholarship. This initiative reflects a shared vision to expand access to quality education and open doors of opportunity for students to achieve their aspirations.
