Government of Balochistan praises AKU-EB's efforts to develop provincial educational capacity

Honourable Secretary, Secondary Education, Balochistan, Mr Tayyab Lehri, visited today’s training session conducted by the Aga Khan University Examination Board (AKU-EB) for public sector education institutions in Balochistan. He thanked UNICEF and the EU for their support and partnership, and also praised the efforts of the new cohort of participants.

“For as much time as I have spent involved in the education sector, I have never witnessed as much dedication and professionalism as demonstrated by the Aga Khan University Examination Board,” said Mr Lehri. “The expertise and devotion with which they share knowledge are truly inspirational. To date, every individual that has benefitted from their training is now considered a shining star to be looked up to in Balochistan’s education sector.” He further went on to say that the success of all future endeavours undertaken in the province was dependent on the success of the participants: “I remain confident that, following your completion of this training, you will become the experts, master trainers, and key resources needed by us. My message to all of you is to carry on working hard: The future is ours!” Following his speech, Mr Lehri was presented with a token of appreciation by Director, AKU-EB, Dr Shehzad Jeeva.
