The AKU-EB Secondary School Certificate (SSC) programme combines rigorous assessment with internationally informed approaches to teaching and learning. Its syllabi comprise clearly defined Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) that promote conceptual understanding and develop critical thinking and higher-order cognitive skills, preparing students for higher secondary education and beyond. The syllabi are offered in both English and Urdu languages.

Choice of Subjects

Students take five compulsory subjects and choose three elective subjects from a range of options. Examinations are taken over two years, enabling students to develop their knowledge and skills progressively.
