AKU-EB Hosted And Organised 156th Meeting For The IBCC and 152nd Meeting For Equivalence Committee

This year meeting for the Equivalence Committee took place in Islamabad on 6 - 7 July, 2017. AKU-EB’s role went beyond simple representation – it was also responsible for hosting and organizing both events. Dr Shehzad Jeeva, Director, AKU-EB attended the event accompanied by Associate Director, Hanif Sharif. Additionally, Michael Desouza and Raheel Sadruddin also accompanied them to assist with logistics.

Besides Dr Jeeva’s leadership role in the capacity of AKU-EB and being a member of the IBCC, he is now also the Chairman of the Group Board Committee of Chairmen also known as Group BCC, which represents seven examination boards. Attendance at the meeting this year was at an all-time high.

There was an increased sense of enthusiasm, as well as a new level of confidence shown with the processes that AKU-EB represents. Additionally, AKU-EB’s status as a leading examination board and role model around the country to aspire towards was praised. Several members of IBCC appreciated AKU-EB team for organising a flawless conference.
